03:54 am - The Meaning of Infamous...and staying up too late...
Finally posted new chapter of story... Read through it a couple times to make sure it made sense, but I'm not sure if that helped. It's almost four AM, and I'm really tired and I have a tummy-ache (and I am cursed with chronic whiney-ness), so I'm not sure if I made things better or worse. But still, I feel accomplished. Maybe after I've had a good sleep I'll go back and check it once more... Thank-you,
lady_branwyn!!!

04:02 pm - Inspired...kinda
Watched Anna and the King last night and felt depressed and strangely, inspired. I sat down and wrote a little POV of one of my favorite characters in my story. I thought about posting it, but decided that would be weird since he's not gonna show up in the storyline til "book" two.
...Hm. It feels wrong to call them books now since their existence is comprised only of two of actually finished chapters, a few scrawled-in notebooks, and a plot that is still being tossed back in forth in my brain.
*sighs* But maybe one day I'll actually get to write Tjaden into the story... maybe...

06:36 pm - a drabble
Yay! I made a drabble! It's meant for the Smooth challenge, though somewhere in the course of writing it, I kinda lost the part about smooth. I hope that's OK, though. *frowns* I think it was the wine, maybe...

09:07 pm - Five Holiday Traditions
The Rules: The 1st player of this "game" starts with the topic "Five Holiday Traditions" and people who get tagged need to write a LiveJournal entry about their five holiday traditions as well as state this rule clearly. In the end, you need to choose the next five people to be tagged.
lady_branwyn tagged me!! Hurray! Wait, aw, crap, that means I actually have to think now...Urg, everyone on my embarrassingly short flist has been tagged or would not appreciate the gesture *coughIvoryCicada

12:32 am - Equal and Opposite
Finally finished writing, correcting, editing, and tweaking the first chapter of my story. Hopefully I haven't butchered it by "fixing" it too much. Thanks so much
lady_branwyn for all your super-helpful comments!

01:19 am - What? I wrote something?
Was feeling creative and finally uploaded the prologue of my original fiction onto FictionPress.com. Now off to get some much-needed sleep...

08:27 pm - Bad! Idea
Despite the fact that I am absolutely terrified of sharks, I elected to watch Open Water last night. Bad, bad, BAD idea!! I'm not going to be able to swim in oceans, lakes, or pools ever again (well, maybe I will brave the pool...in a few months). I'm going to have to go and watch another movie to wash it from my mind. *shivers* I hate sharks... I hate them...

11:29 pm - First Day
Had my first day at work today. I listened to the manager explain everything (and I mean everything) for about three hours, and then I got to work the cash register and other stuff for about twenty minutes after that. I was strangely exhausted when I got home. I'm not sure why. Maybe cause I spent two of the three hours I spent listening standing up? But even though I am currently exhausted, I'm not really tired (now how does that work?). I know I should go to sleep soon, but I don't think I can. I feel restless. *sighs* Maybe I'll work on my story...

08:47 pm - Elboron, Duh!!
OK, even though I am a crazed Faramir fan, it somehow slipped past me that his son's name is Elboron. In my defense, his name is never actually mentioned in any of Tolkien's cannon, just in HoME (I just learned that from Encyclopedia of Arda). But now that I've realized it, I've gone back to my first drabble ( Of Boats and Bones ) and fixed that little error.

06:33 pm - Ack, My Brain! (suprised that I have one?)
Oh, my head hurts...*rubs temples* I spent the entire day yesterday working on an original fiction that I someday hope to post on FictionPress... But I want to have at least four chapters done before I start posting. And considering this story has been ravaging my brain for the greater part of two years, and I just finished chapter one... If I continue writing at that rate, I should be posting sometime in 2011. And if I actually try to finish the whole thing (which I'm planning on), I should be done with it in...*frowns* *counts on fingers* Oh, forget it. Not for a long time. I'd better step up the pace.

10:51 pm - Hoo-ray, I updated something!
I've finally updated my cousin's and my story, Pirates of the Caribbean: Curse of the Mary Sue. I'm not sure if I feel accomplished, or embarrassed that this piece of *snort* literature is mine. I try to console myself but thinking how there actually is something akin to a plot in it -- if you look hard enough. And it's fun to work with my cousin. So, I s'pose it's all good in the end. Mostly.

Borrowed from

I know I should be doing more constructive things (like sleeping) but I couldn't resist doing this meme. I don't even need to bother counting to know that I'm a movie...um, whatever.

01:57 am - My First Drabble
Yay! My first drabble, written for
tolkien_weekly. *falls over from exhaustion* If only it hadn't taken me so bloody long to edit... And that whole 100 words thing... very, very hard.
